DAVID Melrose
David Melrose was born in 1977 and raised in Greenport, NY.  He trained as a sculptor in the classical renaissance style while he served as an apprentice and assistant for several renown artists including Robert Berkes and Dennis Oppenhiem.  In these distinct positions, he learned a wide range of artisanal disciplines and artistic practices in all varieties and forms. The skills he gained in these formative years led to a decade of work in New York’s finest homes installing custom finishes, art and decor while working first hand with NYC’s elite architects, builders and designers.

Immersed and working in the homes of finest art and design the world has to offer, these elevated projects inspired David to form Studio Melrose with his life partner of 20+ years Jodie Vicenta Jacobson Melrose.
EMILY SCHREINER
A childhood spent collecting paint samples from home depot with dad and frequenting open houses with mom, it's safe to say Emily's love for design flourished at a young age. After studying interior design + business at Western Michigan University, Emily went on to begin her career in residential interior design. After six years working closely with end users, her objective is to redefine staging through layered, thoughtful, curated spaces that allow clients to visualize themselves at home. A profession that combines personal passion while making a positive impact on the lives of others is the end goal.

Creating spaces that bridge aesthetics and functionality is the foundation of my inspiration. I strive to be detail oriented and purposeful, but enduring creativity is where my true passion comes into play.
